Funding Streams

Voluntary organisations and community groups can apply for grant aid to develop the capacity of young people to participate.

What can the grant be used for exactly?

Decision making re allocation and monitoring of grant aid for activities and services targeting young people e.g. YOF/YCF grants panel
Development and delivery of services and activities via district and borough council Youth Forums
Young peoples interview panels
Accredited learning opportunities linked to participation, volunteering and youth involvement activities
Developing and implementing a Young People's Communication Plan
Develop the young people's section of the Source website or similar website
Develop the activities and services of the 'V' area Youth Action Teams

Grant limits

The lower limit is £250 and the upper limit is £5,000
