Funding opportunities for voluntary organisations and community groups

Did you know that Suffolk Youth and Connexions Service have granted nearly £170,000 in small grants to voluntary organisations and community groups since 2008?

Voluntary organisations and community groups can apply for grant aid to develop the capacity of young people to participate.

To decide whether you feel you could qualify, please see below information and guidance. We look forward to receiving your applications.

What can the grant be used for exactly?

Development of youth provision across a geographical area or specific interest/focus
Development and delivery of services and activities via district and borough council Youth Forums
Young peoples interview panels
Accredited learning opportunities linked to participation, volunteering and youth involvement activities
Develop young people's contributions to the Source website and Facebook page
Develop the activities and services of the 'V' area Youth Action Teams

Grant limits

The lower limit is £250 and the upper limit is £5,000
