Youth & Connexions Service, working with employers

The Youth & Connexions Service is a service for young people aged 13 - 19 (and up to 25 if they have additional needs) that provides independent advice and support on a range of issues, including training and work options. We are in touch with more than 26,000 16 - 19 year old school leavers across Suffolk every year.

Most young people ultimately want to find a good job which offers training and development opportunities, and the Youth & Connexions Service wants to work with employers like you to help young people achieve this goal.

Our specialist recruitment advisers are in daily contact with young people who are looking for quality employment and training.

We can talk to you about your business needs, advertise your vacancy and help you to recruit the right young person.

Suitable candidates will be sent details of your vacancy by text or email, we will also display your vacancy on www.thesource.me.uk (our website for young people).

We help employers to gain access to training funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC). The Youth & Connexions Service is part of Suffolk County Council, and the service we provide is FREE for employers and young people.
